Listing & Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: August 31, 2026
1. Listing on x402Mall
Anyone with a genuine website, API, service, data product, or tool that accepts (or is preparing to accept) x402 pay-per-use payments can submit a listing. Basic listings are free. There are no listing fees and no commissions: you set your own price, keep your own revenue, and get paid directly by your customers.
Every submission is reviewed by a person before it appears, alongside automated checks. Approval is at our discretion; being listed is not a right.
2. Provider responsibilities
If you list a service, you are responsible for:
- Having the rights. You must be authorized to offer the service and to sell or share any data it provides. Don't list what isn't yours to sell.
- Accuracy. Your name, description, price, and URLs must be truthful and kept up to date. Your price on x402Mall should match what your service actually charges.
- Your own terms and payments. You set your price, your access terms, and your own x402/payment configuration. Payments go directly from your customers to you.
- Fulfillment, refunds, and disputes. Delivering what you sold — and handling any refunds or disputes — is between you and your customer, under your terms.
- Compliance. Your service must comply with the laws that apply to it and to your customers.
x402Mall does not guarantee you earnings, traffic, purchases, customers, or agent usage. A listing is discovery, not a promise of demand.
3. Prohibited listings
Do not submit listings for services that are, or that facilitate:
- anything unlawful, or the evasion of law enforcement or sanctions;
- malware, exploits sold for wrongdoing, phishing, or credential theft;
- fraud, deception, impersonation, or fake engagement/reviews;
- content or data that infringes someone else's rights;
- bypassing payment systems, authentication, rate limits, paywalls, or other access controls of any third party;
- harassment, exploitation, or content that endangers minors;
- weapons, illegal drugs, or other regulated goods where prohibited;
- collection or sale of personal data without a lawful basis, or surveillance of people without their knowledge where consent is required;
- investment schemes, guaranteed-return offers, or deceptive financial claims.
Listings must also never request seed phrases, private keys, or wallet recovery phrases from users — and neither do we.
4. What our checks mean — and don't mean
Before and after approval we run limited automated checks: an HTTPS request to the listed website ("Reachable" means it responded), and an unauthenticated request to the listed endpoint ("x402 payment detected" means it answered with an HTTP 402 payment challenge in the x402 format at the time shown). "Reported by provider" means the provider told us their service supports x402 and we have not yet confirmed it.
These labels describe exactly those technical observations and nothing more. They are not a security audit, a legitimacy check, an identity verification, or an endorsement. We do not currently offer a "verified provider" program.
5. Rejection, editing, suspension, and removal
We may reject a submission, correct obvious errors in listing details, or hide, suspend, or remove a live listing at any time — for policy, security, legal, abuse, fraud, technical, or quality reasons, including repeated failed reachability checks. Where practical we'll use the listing's private contact email to tell the provider why. Providers can request removal of their own listing at any time.
6. Reporting a listing or a security issue
If a listing looks fraudulent, infringing, harmful, or broken — or if you believe content on x402Mall infringes your intellectual property — email contact@x402mall.shop with:
- the listing name and its x402mall.shop link;
- what is wrong (fraud, infringement, malware, broken service, other);
- for IP reports: what work is infringed, and your relationship to it;
- how we can reach you for follow-up.
Found a security vulnerability in x402Mall itself? Please email the same address with "security" in the subject and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before sharing it publicly. Please don't access data that isn't yours while demonstrating an issue.
We review reports, may hide a listing while we look into it, and act as described in section 5. We can't reverse payments — refund requests belong with the provider (see the Terms of Service).
7. Changes
We may update this policy as the directory grows; the date above shows the latest version. Material changes to listing rules apply to existing listings after a reasonable period.
